Nebraska ist schwarz.Und rund.Und hat 33 cm Durchmesser.Und ist ziemlich eben.Bruce Springsteen hat die ziemlich melancholische Platte gemacht und natürlich dachte ich, wenn ich die Staatsgrenze zu Nebraska überquere,strömt "My Father's House" oder "Highway Patrol Man" aus den Bose- Lautsprechern des Autos.Natürlich nicht.Aber Nebraska ist immerhin auch ziemlich eben und eher windig als düster, wenn auch die meisten Kühe um uns rum schwarz sind.
Im manchmal etwas streng riechenden Lexington gibt es nicht nur eine Botschaft an Veganer und Vegetarier
sondern auch nette Menschen wie Jodie vom sehr gut sortierten "Bargain John's Antiques"

heraus und der nächste Stop heißt Des Moines, ausgesprochen "Demoin" und das ist, wie wir alle wissen, die Hauptstadt von Iowa.
